KUMITE Get the app

Privacy

The app collects no data. This page covers what the website keeps and why.

Covers the KUMITE app for iPhone, iPad and Mac, and this website. Last updated 8 November 2026.

The app

The app collects no personal data and sends nothing to us. There is no KUMITE account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and the game makes no network requests of its own. Its App Store privacy label reads Data Not Collected.

Your best score, the achievements you have unlocked and your commentary setting are saved on your device.

When you are signed in to Game Center, the app sends your best score and your achievements to Game Center. Apple runs Game Center, and your Game Center settings decide who can see them.

This website

The website has no analytics and sets no cookies. It keeps a few things in your browser's local storage: your commentary setting, a note once you have played the free floors, and, if you sign the wall, the name you used and a random ID for your browser. They stay on your device.

The wall is the world leaderboard in the browser trial. If you sign it, we store the name you type, your random browser ID, your best score and how far that run got. Everyone can see the names and scores on the wall; the ID is never shown. To stop people flooding the wall, the server counts posts from each IP address over one minute, and that count is deleted after the minute is up. The wall's data lives with Upstash, our database provider.

The site is hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs. The fonts are served from this site. The App Store badges load from Apple's servers, so Apple sees your IP address when a page with a badge loads.

To have your name taken off the wall, email us with the name and the score shown next to it.

Children

The app collects no data from anyone, children included. KUMITE's default commentary has strong language and crude adult humor and is rated for older players.
